| Client: | Garmin |
| Project: | Web video for Garmin’s OnRoute
navigation software for bikes. |
| Goal: | To get the press fired-up about
Garmin’s OnRoute cycle maps and to generate free publicity. |
| Summary: | Some product announcements need
more than traditional written press releases. Garmin’s OnRoute cycle maps were
crying out for digital PR, so the press release was accompanied by a 40-second
video to show how much fun they are and how easy to use. Two cycling fans
demonstrate how they use their car navigation system to take them to a
recreational area. Once they get there, they mount the navigator on their bikes
and start pedaling. The video was downloadable from the MCS website, but it also
attracted a lot of interest on YouTube.

newspapers. |
